Drop That Timeshare Now

A meager timeshare resale profit will do no good to timeshare owners. As a matter of fact it increases their expenses even more if they still hold on to timeshare exit solutions that keep them waiting in vain. In these times of crisis, owners must take into consideration the amount of cash they shell out since they’ll never know when the most difficult days would strike. It is a must therefore to save for the rainy season. And what better way to save is to unload that unnecessary stuff like timeshares.

But even if you have already decided to unload those timeshares, it still is very hard to do it. The steps are given but how you implement it is quite tedious and frustrating at times. Reselling for example requires patience in searching the best channels to advertise your unit. You can have it advertised through TV, radio, print, or post it in the internet. The first three media are expensive and may not target the potential buyers for so long. It is advisable to use the internet for your postings as the information you’ll place in the ad can reach millions of people around the world. But before doing all these, you must be able to determine the right market value of your timeshare.

Reselling entails a lot of hardwork to look for the reputable resale company in the market. A lot of owners have become victims due to their wrong decisions of engaging with fake or deceitful resale companies. They paid for advertising fees that resale companies didn’t push through at all. Reimbursements were not granted though it was written on contracts. Majority of the reports filed in the Attorney General’s Office were timeshare-related fraud complaints. The rapid increase in number alongside recession, threatens the continuous existence of the timeshare community.

It is also very unreasonable to keep a unit with fees that keep on escalating. The effects of recession brought a rise in products and services’ rates. It is not very shocking that timeshare fees rise as well.

Waiting for someone to buy your unit is not the answer to get out of timeshares. You can do it using the transfer title service. Investigate and know more about it.

Timeshare set for Raffle and other Timeshare Transfer Forms

The global economic crisis experienced by everyone nowadays drastically strikes the timeshare real estate industry. With this, there are a lot of timeshare owners who experience great financial problems from their timeshares seek for timeshare relief because of the difficulty they experience from it. Some of their major reasons of getting rid of such properties are the expensively hiking annual maintenance and other special assessment fees. Timeshare units are very difficult to sell today since there’s a lot of competition on the market. With that, there are some timeshare owners who resort to other ways or alternatives on jettisoning their timeshare contracts and to get rid of it and the financial responsibilities it associates forever.

One alternative to consider getting rid of a timeshare is to set it up for a raffle. This might be an optional solution in getting rid of your timeshare but you can’t really assure if the winner of the raffle would accept your timeshare and the responsibilities that come with it. When the raffle winner is determined, necessary documents are still going to be processed so that they could transfer the timeshare possession rights from the original timeshare owner to the winner of the raffle. However, proper documentation should be carefully assessed as it should still be in line and comply with the particular laws regarding contracts and obligations or responsibilities on where everything took or will take place.

Moreover, upon the effectiveness of the timeshare transfer, everything connected to the timeshare like the annual maintenance and other fees and the timeshare itself being awarded and transferred will be conveyed or are already conveyed to the raffle prize winner. So if you want to put your timeshare up for raffle, you have to make sure that you already made the necessary payments, fixed your documents and have carefully checked the current status of your timeshare property or unit so that you wouldn’t be involved into conflicts about the awarding or transferring of timeshare in the coming years. As for the raffle winner’s concern, he or she should know and should be aware of the responsibilities that he or she might face in the near future with the timeshare that he or she has just received.

So if the winner would decide to accept your timeshare, then congratulations you just freed yourself with all those burdening financial problems it gives you but if he or she wouldn’t, you just have to find other ways on how to get away with it in a more effective way. You could try reselling your timeshare to corporations or some organizations who would like to purchase it. Furthermore, you could try it in a more legal and effective way like timeshare title transfer specially offered by timeshare title transfer companies like Timeshare Relief, Inc. wherein they could assure you the relief that you want and need away from your timeshare.

Whatever process or way you avail in and would go through, make sure you won’t experience further conflicts or problems about it. Always go for safe and effective ways to ensure yourself the timeshare relief that you have long hoped for.

U.S. Timeshare Industry Sales in 2007

In the year 2006, timeshare sales increased up to 6 % with a total of $10.6 billion in sales in the year 2007. This information is based on the new study made by Ernst & Young, LLP about the U.S. vacation ownership and timeshare industry. This survey study covered up to 628 timeshare resorts within the area. It showed 66 % of sales since 2003 and 32% of the average resort size growth.

A total of 1,641 timeshare resorts within United States were recorded last January 1, 2007. There was also a total of approximately 6.5 million of equivalent intervals owned in per week and a total number of 4.7 million increased new timeshare owners.

According to ARDA President and CEO Howard Nusbam, the growing timeshare industry in the economy today serves as a sign of the industry’s high demand on consumers and provides great satisfaction to those vacation seekers and timeshare owners as well. Also, he added that vacation ownership is flexible, diverse, and offers satisfactory accommodations and amenities. It is still considered as the travel choice for a huge number of families in America.

Further, as of January 1, 2008, the total number of timeshare properties in United States was 180, 158 given that there are new 8,000 constructed units that were built last 2007. There were 8,000 new unit increased expectations from the respondents built in the year 2008.

Additionally, there was an 80 % average occupancy which includes more or less 70 % of those people who were owners of timeshares or exchange guests. Also, there were more than 10 % people who served as renters and/or marketing guests in such timeshare properties.

The areas which have the most resorts that represent 39 % of the total timeshare resorts in United States are Florida, California, and South Carolina. The top of the list with the most resorts and in which represents 23 % of the total timeshare resorts in U.S. which are considered as the largest resorts and with sales volume in great costs and numbers. Furthermore, California composes 9 % of timeshare resorts in United States, and then followed with 7 % by South Carolina. Then the lists go on and so as the US resorts list from the states remaining which were clustered in regions like in Mountain, northeast, Pacific, and etc.

Moreover, they presented the most common primary designations of resorts, vacation experiences, amenities and services, and etc with their corresponding ratings and percentages.

There are also a 99 % total of respondents/timeshare owners that are connected with the Interval International and/or Group RCI Exchange Networks. These are timeshare exchange companies and offer services to those timeshare possessors who would want to have timeshare relief or an exchange and different timeshare to spend their vacations to.

These resorts have given class and some sophistication on gearing towards the purchasing of timeshare intervals. The offering of points aside from selling the usual one week per year added on the flexibility of customization of owners’ vacation wants and needs. These points garnered by owners can have an extension on their vacation weeks or could probably break up from the contract, can have any time of their life to travel on that property in a year and could have the possibility to have vacations on different locations and on various unit sizes. Whatever way they produce their points, as long as they could produce some and reach high points, it ensures them a better vacation quality.

It is important to note these kinds of information for the past few years timeshare industry’s performance to know on what might have caused or resulted the performance of the industry today.

Timeshare Relief: Then and Now

Timeshare Relief, Inc. has already come a long way. It is based in Torrance but already reached a lot of people in a global scope. I think it would be better if we would get to know this company more and be able to unfold their humble beginnings and their current success. Through this article, we can take a peak on where and how it originated, who are the people behind the company, their services and some testimonials from their satisfied costumers.

It all started when the couple Cindy Martin MacMillan and David MacMillan and their family went on a vacation in Las Vegas and as they were relaxing and having fun, they were told that by investing in that timeshare, they could eventually own a property and could sell it for profit if they would decide to ditch it already in time. They eventually availed in that offer without expecting on what would happen in the years to come. Maintenance fees increased and payments were just very high that they tried to find ways on how to jettison their contract for good to get away with all those financial problems. They’ve tried reselling, online listings and all the other ways just to get rid of their timeshare but then again it took them a very long time to do so though they accomplished it somehow later on. They have experienced very hard struggles in getting rid of their timeshare property before and that served as an inspiration for them that’s why they made and established Timeshare Relief, Inc. in January 2004.

They started rough yet look where they are right now. It is now an Inc. 500 company and received the Best in Torrance Award twice. They have even been featured on This week on Torrance. Catch the whole interview in this site: http://www.torranceca.gov/CableTV/20879.htm.
It is a company that offers a steadfast timeshare exit solution for timeshare owners who would really want to get of their timeshare contracts and those annual maintenance fees and special assessment fees totally.

One satisfied client of this company was Nancy Gruttenmeyer who was pretty much sick with the increasing payments its timeshare is giving her that’s why she decided to permanently get rid of it and find a company that would and could really help her. Her maintenance fee started at as $250 and increased so high year after year. Then she found Timeshare Relief and is now unloaded from her timeshare and happily enjoys her life now by still experiencing the timeshare experience by renting a Timeshare in Vermont, Hawaii and Disney timeshares without those troubling maintenance fees. Her, together with over 50, 000 clients in U.S., U.K., and Canda, the founders are staying as positive as ever because the company is still doing well and continues to grow amidst the slowing economy and financial crisis we are experiencing right now.

It is not a timeshare resale company but it ensures its clients and possible clients that it could give them an easy and effective exit solution by transferring timeshare contracts away from their names for good. They have helped over 50,000 + timeshare owners and transferred timeshare contracts at about 52,000 and more. For more and added information, you can call 1-800-588-1582 and communicate with them.

Ways to Move Out From Your Timeshare

You probably know that timeshares are not meant have a long term value. Therefore, by purchasing it, you ought to have an idea on your scheme way out of it. If you know how to get yourself out from a timeshare and as long as you are equipped with the right and doable plans, then you can purchase a piece of a resort with no worries on how to dispose them in a matter of time.

Your first option is to exercise your right to rescission. This is actually a law where investors can cancel an investment without forfeiting the payment. However, this only applies on a certain period of time. So you'd better be quick in examining your contract and in reviewing the details regarding termination of ownership. Rescission period depends on the local state government. So it is ideal to be updated with this kind of exit solution.

Second option is to give it back to the resorts. However, it is very unusual for the resorts to take it back. The real deal here is that timeshares are obtaining profit if it is under your ownership. This is because under your proprietorship you are being collected with fees on maintenance, operating costs and other charges; whereas, if it is under their care, the timeshare is stagnant with a non-moving income.

Your third option is to sell your timeshare. However, you may consider the fact that there are a lot of owners who are also trying to get rid of their properties. This means, you might have a slimmer chance to market your timeshare. You are not the only one who is selling a property. Unfortunately, because of these competitions, the market value of your timeshare might go lower than you expected.

Fourth option is to have your property be rented out so that it will not become a dead asset. Since you are paying a lot of its related fees, you need to pay up these charges as to maintain the status of your property. However, it does not really solve your problem in getting rid of your sleeping asset.

If the options suggested did not help you to move out of your timeshare, then try donating your unit to a charity. This way of getting rid of your unit will yield no return of investment for you. This would hurt considering how much you spent for that property. This method may not bring you an answer to your problem. We all know that timeshares are not really a moving investment moving it to a charity would not sound charitable at all. You don't actually earn anything from it instead you have paid a lot to keep it as it is. It is seen as a liability and not as a valuable asset.

If you are tired of shaking off your responsibility over your timeshare, you can just pay someone to take care of its physical aspects and you could just go on paying all its related fees and charges. You'll never know what your timeshare will bring you in the future.

Troubles in Timeshare

The story goes like this, Stacey Udell, an accountant from New Jersey, was like any other consumer who wish to own a charming real estate in Bahamas. She instantly grabbed the opportunity when she found one at only $3,000 on Craigslist. Stacey is now welcomed to the world of timeshares together with 6 million Americans.

Four years later, the news is that Stacey even her family never made it to the Bahamas. Stacey is back at Craigslist but this time she’s the one selling a timeshare. Driven by the desire to get rid of paying $ 1,650 annually for maintenance bills, she is now determined to sell her timeshare. If that isn’t enough of a burden, she also has to suffer from other people’s failure to pay, by paying $250.

Stacey is just one of the numerous timeshare owners caught in binding contract restrictions, skyrocketing annual fees and insistent sales people. Just like Stacey, a flight attendant named Summers Doonan, is also carrying with her a timeshare burden. She purchased an $18,000 worth timeshare at Cape Verde. Being a mom makes it impossible for her to go to her timeshare but she still continues paying thousands of dollars for her timeshare. Definitely, she resorted to selling her timeshare.

Timeshare market is suffering. Scams are increasing. Desperate owners are multiplying as maintenance fees unceasingly increases. Timeshare owners will do whatever it takes to get out of their lifetime financial timeshare burden.

The impact of recession is felt also by the big ones in the timeshare industry. Marriot and Westgate are making huge efforts to muffle the effect of enormous sales drop. Big companies announce halting any timeshare development as the future of timeshare remains vague.

There seem to be no winners in the timeshare industry. The only ones who seem to be benefiting from this are the scammers in timeshare. But there joy might be short-lived now that the government is coming up with new regulations to protect timeshare consumers.
